Responsibilities

Responsible for recruitment of candidates for future CAD positions
Ensures on-time completion of project deliverables and adheres to defined project
management, quality management processes and tools practices
Foster process and skills improvements
Delegates tasks and coordinates the work efforts of others
Oversees the CAD Standard, purchasing software and hardware, training, vendor
negotiations, budgets, productivity and more
Collaborates with Project Managers to prep for CAD work on new projects
Directs improvements to Auto-CAD via ACAD LISP and VBASIC Programming
Revises plans to meet manufacturing and architectural requirements
Plans, develops and implements artwork needed for product design such as:
graphics, prints, stripes, screens and logos
Analyzes, prepares and develops new product designs using computer aided
design techniques keeping in account the cost of material and production
Utilizes CAD equipment to provide support to Engineers/Project Managers by
preparing layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches and diagrams

Creates drawings and specifications based on equations, calculations and
instructions provided by team members
Revises plans to meet manufacturing and architectural requirements
Plans, develops and implements artwork needed for product design such as:

Analyzes, prepares and develops new product designs using computer aided
design techniques keeping in account the cost of material and production
Utilizes CAD equipment to provide support to Engineers/Project Managers by

Creates final draft of proposed drawing, taking dimensions on plans, materials
to be used, and relation of various parts to whole structure/project into
consideration
